(Nashville, Tennessee) –December 4, 2008 –Rebecca St. James will be seen this weekend (Sunday/December 7th) as the special guest of Dr. Robert Schuller on his weekly “Hour of Power” telecast from Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California.
St. James’ visit to the telecast will be to share the inspiration that led to her recently released new book, Pure: A 90 Devotional for the Body, Mind, and Spirit, published by FaithWords. The Australian born Grammy winner is a recognized best selling Christian author with a half dozen books to her credit, including Wait For Me, which has topped 100,000 in sales for Thomas Nelson.

Rebecca is closing ’08 wrapping film work in Hollywood with director Carey Scott on her acting role in the movie, To the Wall. The drama is based on the poignant story of two young men who embark on a cross country journey of friendship and ‘coming to faith’ that takes them to the Viet Nam Memorial Wall in Washington to connect with the histories of their war vet fathers. Notes Rebecca: “Along the way, the two young guys, Wayne and John, encounter my character, Annie, an Australian who is hitchhiking across the U.S. with her cousin, Ted. I might say Annie brings some moments of inspiration and fun to the film and I can encourage movie-goers that it is a faith and values based production. I'm very excited about the project!” Distribution details and '09 release date on the film are forthcoming.
In Nashville for Thanksgiving, Rebecca, who records for EMI/Forefront, was in studio demoing new music with the promise to her many supporters of fresh winds of inspiration on the music side in the New Year.
